The 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday of the year.
I love the relaxed, no-pressure cookouts with friends and family. The nice warm weather. Being outside, from golf to pool time. The fireworks against the dark sky and the finale that makes you proud to be an American.
We are privileged to live in the greatest, most powerful country in world history. We are home to the bravest men and women that protect our nation by choice rather than by force.
We stand for freedom to all the other nations of the world and are the country that millions have come to in the pursuit of life and liberty. You cannot tell me of another nation that has our rights or freedoms.
This nation we call America lets anyone and everyone enjoy opportunities to dream and achieve whatever they aspire to. We have all of this because of the forefathers that put everything on the line to stand up against tyranny and the power of England. Then, England was the most powerful and feared nation in the world. Our great leaders risked their lives and their family’s existence to defeat the English, and our great nation was born.
Let us all remember and cherish the country we love and say Happy Birthday, America!!!!
I wish everyone who reads this a safe and beautiful holiday weekend, and I appreciate the active military families that are still, to this day, standing and ready to protect our great and beautiful nation!
