Effective January 6, 2020 agents with CSO will be able to market and sell Plan F policies for those consumers eligible to purchase a plan F policy as defined by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015.
These plans will only be available for applications submitted on January 6, 2020 or later. Any applications submitted prior to that date will not be accepted.
The CSO team priced these plans to be a great fit for healthier clients looking to switch to a more affordable plan or those clients entering Part B for the first time that are eligible to purchase a Plan F policy.
With this being CSO's first Plan F offering, this block of business will have very little guarantee issue business to negatively impact your client's premium going forward. This equates to lower premiums and more stable Plan F rates.
